I have some tender hearts written on a card and stuck in my Bible. I’m praying. I love them so. I know they are scared, one even told me so. This little card represents all kinds of life’s hardships – dealing with pain and loss, uncertainty, and wanting to hope but being too scared.
Sometimes a song helps. I know and remember that fear takes hold with a death grip, especially in the middle of the night and often when we least expect it. Francesca Battistelli has captured attitude in her beat and lyrics.
Have you ever thought of breaking up with fear? Singing along with her (what she recommends in her song) is helping me pray for them and fight for them. As their proxy I’m kicking fear to the curb.
This song on repeat –
The Breakup Song by Francesca Battistelli
Suzanne,
I am exploring you site and learning so much about you. God has led me to the Paint with Pam workshop not just to paint but to fellowship with people like you. I am enjoying everything you write and your beautiful family. I was looking for a workshop to advance my painting and this popped up when I was looking through plein air painters of the South East. I called the Lincoln school and they said “Oh that’s Suzanne Matthews workshop” and gave me your number. Then I googled you and found a common thread. Looking forward to Painting with Pam!! and meeting you. Thank You.
