One last look at sweet Easter conversations captured from two of our youngest grands – Case (5) and his cousin, Katie (3).

The week before Easter, our daughter Molly overheard this from the back seat of the car:

Case, concerned: Mama, I don’t want to die on a cross.

Molly, reassuring: You’re not going to buddy, they don’t do that any more.

Case, emphatic: Oh yes, they do. I heard a story of a little boy who was going to be king and they nailed him to a cross and he didn’t get to be king.

Caroline (7), inquisitive: Case, are you talking about Jesus?

Case, incredulous: Do you know him too!!?

And this 10-second video the week of Easter from Katie:

In her little 3-year-old voice she is saying: The mean guard said, ‘Surely this man was the Son of God’.
